WBOM's Favorite Things!
Attention All... "WBOM's Favorite Things" is the program for the October luncheon. We are looking for suggestions from our membership about fantastic gift ideas for the Holidays. I know, you can't believe we're thinking about this already! Just keep it in the back of your mind this summer. What kind of things are we looking for? I'm just wondering about some examples of Favorite Things. Of course, my fav things include a good cult red wine, Ugg slippers, and a clean house!
I think we should try to find things produced/sold locally... preferably something from one of our members. As for what specifically, it can be a gadget, something wearable (maybe a great big hat for someone with big hair, hint, hint), something chocolate, a great service... I'm totally down with the house cleaning thing, a "cook" thing would be good too!
We're looking for the latest and greatest of Holiday offerings. Think "Oprah's Favorite Things". Maybe a pair of Poetic License shoes (in a 6.5 of course) or the newest fragrance or cosmetic. This is a great opportunity for WBOM members (and potential members) to donate a "favorite thing"; have a chance to talk about it and their business and get the holiday buzz going, right here in Michiana!
We're looking for all kinds of things! Think of Oprah's Favorite Things. Although we can't give everyone in the audience everything like Oprah does, this is an excellent opportunity for WBOM members and potential members to showcase something new for the holidays. All we ask is the donation of one of whatever you wish to donate and promote during the meeting; that item will raffled off to a WBOM member.
We'd love to see new and exciting things and make WBOM'S FAVORITE THINGS an annual tradition!
